Seamless Roofing System
Historical Mission

The Mission National Historical Park is an important part of Texas History. The curator of the Mission was interested in refurbishing an aged silicone-coated polyurethane foam roof on the main Sanctuary as part of ongoing maintenance of the structure.

Jeans Waterproofing of Texas (JWTX) was selected as the contractor to tackle this prestigious re-roofing project. Technicians from JWTX first prepared the surface by making any necessary foam/coating repairs to the existing system. Once repaired, the entire surface was water-blasted with a biodegradable detergent to remove any dirt and foreign material. A topcoat embedded with ceramic granules, for impact resistance and an aesthetic finish, followed a monolithic base coat application of Silicone.

The seamless system continues to protect the eighteenth century structure from moisture intrusion. The fluid system also maintains the authentic look of the Important Spanish structure.
