Seamless Flooring System
Automotive Technology Center

A local school-district made a major commitment to the Automotive Industry and the students of their Automotive Technology Department. A district warehouse would be completely refurbished and home to a high-tech Automotive Center.

School Architects selected an innovative and flexible epoxy flooring system to protect the concrete floors throughout the shop areas. The modified epoxy system offers excellent durability, while providing an impact resistance surface to resist chipping from falling parts and tools. The General Contractor selected Jeans Waterproofing of Texas (JWTX) to install the seamless flooring system.

The entire floor surface was shot-blasted to remove all surface sealers and properly prepare the surface to receive the multi-step system. Cracks and imperfections in the concrete were properly detailed and repaired prior to the application of an adhesion-promoting primer. Two layers of modified epoxy topped off the system and the beautiful new facility.

The floor, and the beautiful new facility, continues to shine. JWTX specializes in the installation of high-tech coatings and polymers for the commercial and industrial market.
