Correctional Facility
A local Correctional Facility was amidst a complete refurbishment of their Main Kitchen within the building. This included complete demolition of existing sinks, stoves, and refrigeration systems; as most of the entire kitchen system was to be replaced with updated appliances and more efficient technologies. Included in this remodeling was a seamless floor that could be durable, and easy to clean. The General Contractor chose JWTX to install this flooring system.
The floor selected was a urethane mortar, having a high standard for the toughest industrial settings. It’s components are known to create a floor able to withstand industrial cleaning, as well as be extremely shock resistant with long lasting durability.
The existing floor was shot blasted to remove surface sealers, JWTX Technicians then sealed and properly detailed cracks and imperfections. Multiple layers of urethane were installed to create a beautiful floor that was rugged enough for an industrial kitchen, yet flexible enough for any project environment.
This durable flooring system is still in use today due to the dedication of JWTX to fit the needs of any project, while having high standards for a successful installation of any waterproofing system.
